 Maryland & Pennsylvania Canada Goose Hunting
“The goose hunting capital of America” is what Maryland’s eastern shore was known as for years. Then it all stopped. The goose population was way down and the Atlantic Flyway council put an end to AP (Atlantic Population) goose hunting. Thanks to the resident western shore goose population we were still able to shoot some geese in Maryland. That was many years ago and we now have a AP goose season again.
Black Duck Outfitters specializes in Canada goose hunting on the western shore of Maryland. We hunt the early season from September 1-25 (8 birds per day limit) and all of the late season in November – February. The AP limits are 2 Canada geese per hunter per day and late season resident zone limit is 5 Canada geese per hunter per day. We have less pressure and lots of geese on the western shore. We do hunt both zones on the western shore depending on which zone holds the best opportunity for you at the time of your hunt.

- Maryland or Pennsylvania Hunting License w/Stamps, 7 day or season license available.
- Shells, BBB, BB, B, 1 & 2s for geese.
- Gun, we do not loan guns. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Appropriate Clothing for the weather full camouflage or dull earth tone colors, a change of clothes is strongly suggested.

Weather:
We can't guarantee weather or when the birds will fly, some things you just can't control. For water hunts, we reserve the right to reschedule or may offer you a field hunt option if the water is at a dangerous level due to heavy rain or winds. Your safety and the safety of our guides is our primary concern.
Deposits:
50% deposit due at time of booking. Balance due when you arrive for your hunt. Due to limited availability and the advanced planning needed to ensure a quality trip, we are unable to refund any payments. We will be happy to reschedule and answer any questions regarding this policy.
Cancellation Policy:
Black Duck Outfitters reserves the right to cancel and refund hunts up to 20 days in advance for any reason. |
